Description:
In Schrodinger’s cat experiment, he proposed to put a bottle of hydrocyanic acid (an extremely poisonous liquid) in the box that can kill the cat when the hammer shatters the bottle. The bottle needed to satisfy two conditions: first, the liquid won’t corrode the bottle; second, the hammer can easily break it. The one that he finally chose for the experiment is showing here. This kind of glass bottles have a rounded shoulder design that reliable for containing almost any liquid or solid. Caps are a black plastic with vinyl liner. They were widely used since 1920s to nowadays as containers in laboratories.
